Patrick Allaway (Chairman)
In excess of 25 years experience in financial markets in Sydney, New York, Chicago, London and Zurich. Strong strategy development and business building skills. Was Managing Director SBC Warburg (now UBS) Capital Markets and Treasury (based in London and Zurich), during which time SBC grew from a domestic Swiss Bank serving Swiss clients around the world to being a leading global investment bank. Member of the Global Investment Bank Executive Committee; developed and implemented the strategy for the Capital Markets and Treasury Group with over 3,000 people in 16 countries. Non Executive Director of Macquarie Goodman Industrial Trust until 2006 (a top 50 ASX listed Company), market capitalisation grew from <$2bln to >$5bln during this period. Co-founded the Saltbush Group; raised over $600 million for alternate asset sectors and played a key role in the strategic planning and development of EWT, Duncan Solutions, and PrimeAg.
Steve Williams
In excess of 25 years experience in financial markets. Was an Executive Director of County NatWest (now Citigroup) for 12 years during which time County was firmly established as a leading institutional stockbroking firm in Australia. Steve was head of Equities Sales and Trading in Sydney, including Risk Management and Compliance roles. Steve co-founded the Saltbush group and established the Saltbush Absolute return funds business. Steve identified the demand shifts for soft commodities early and originated and structured PrimeAg as a credible investment vehicle in the sector. Steve is a Director of PrimeAg. He has captained Australia in Rugby Union and was a member of the ARU Board for a number of years.
Peter Talbot
In excess of 20 years experience in financial markets, in London, Hong Kong and Sydney. Previous roles include: Head of Equities at Grange Securities, purchased by Lehman Brothers 2007; Head of Sales (Equities) for JP Morgan Australia. Head of Sales (Asia) for Citigroup (previously SSB, and County Natwest Australia). In these roles Peter participated in raising equity for many large and small listed companies. Peter has deep knowledge of the institutional investor market active on the ASX. Peter played a lead role in marketing the PrimeAg IPO. Joined Saltbush in June 08
